| MANSFIELD, PA (9/25/07) - Dennis Heinle, chief learning officer at Sovereign Bank, has been named director of the newly created Leadership Institute at Mansfield University.
The Leadership Institute will forge community and corporate partnerships for leadership development providing linkage opportunities for faculty, staff and students. The Institute will also provide a variety of student internships opportunities for MU students. In making the announcement, MU President Maravene Loeschke said, “Developing tomorrow’s leaders is more than a slogan here at Mansfield and Dennis Heinle will be a tremendous asset in continuing to put our philosophy into action. At Sovereign Bank he planned and directed a nationally recognized leadership development program. Prior to that he was the president of Capstone Corporate Leadership Development in York, PA.” Heinle holds a B.S. in Business Management and an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore.
