Career Development Center Receives Grant for Leadership Initiatives

MANSFIELD, PA (1/16/08) - The Mansfield University Career Development Center has received a $5,000 grant award from the C. Charles Jackson Foundation.

The award will be used to expand and strengthen leadership initiatives, including the Mountaineer Leadership Program and other efforts.

“We are very pleased to receive this gift from the C. Charles Jackson Foundation, which is committed to leadership and character development for young people nationwide,” Julia Overton-Healy, director of the Career Development Center, said. “Their mission merges exceedingly well with Mansfield University’s. This grant will advance our work in developing tomorrow’s leaders.”
