MANSFIELD, PA— Homecoming weekend at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania will get underway with “An
Evening with Dr. Randal Pinkett” on Thursday, October 7, 8 p.m. in Straughn Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Co-author of Black Faces in White Places: 10 Game-Changing Strategies to Achieve Success and Find Greatness, which was published earlier this year, Pinkett says of his personal philosophy, “I try to live according to the five F’s: faith, family, friends, fellowship and fun.”
Pinkett has established himself as an entrepreneur, scholar, author and speaker. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a consulting firm based in Newark, NJ, that specializes in information technology, organizational development and public policy.
The holder of five academic degrees; a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Oxford in England and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, MBA and Ph.D. from M.I.T., Pinkett was the first and only African-American to receive a Rhodes Scholarship at Rutgers.
Pinkett has made several national TV appearances, including the Today Show on NBC and ABC’s Nightline, but is best known for winning season four of the reality show The Apprentice in 2005.
In addition to Black Faces in White Places, Pinkett is the author of Campus CEO: The Student Entrepreneur’s Guide to Launching a Multimillion-Dollar Business and No-Money Down CEO: How to Start Your Dream Business with Little or No Cash.
