MANSFIELD, PA— Country music star Brantley Gilbert, along with special guest David Nail, will perform in concert at Decker Gymnasium on Wednesday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Starting in the south and then touring the country the past five years, Gilbert has built his brand through his lyrics and live performances and has developed a strong legend of followers, known as the BG Nation.
“We don’t have fans, we have friends,” Gilbert says. “I like to think that those people in the crowd are just like me. They listen to the songs, they get the meaning and get the purpose and they get something out of it.”
A candidate for this year’s Academy of Country Music (ACM) “New Artist of the Year,” Gilbert has two albums to his credit. A Modern Day Prodigal Son was released in 2009. He followed up with Halfway To Heaven Deluxe last year. It peaked at number two on the iTunes Country album charts and number one on the Billboard “Heatseekers” album charts for all genres.
Gilbert also has written several top songs, including Dirt Road Anthem and My Kinda Party, which were recorded by fellow county star Jason Aldean.

David Nail will open for Gilbert. Nail’s latest album, The Sound of a Million Dreams, was released last year. Let It Rain, a single off that effort, made it to number one on the country charts earlier this year.
